Doc's® Steel Beam Clamps / Clips for Ceiling Support & Cable Management

A summary of Doc's® Beam Clamps / Clips and how they compare
Beam clamps are devices used in cable management and ceiling suspension industry to attach fixtures and hardware, such as bridle rings, J-Hooks, S-Hooks, ceiling wires, threaded rod, conduit clips, and much more, to beam flanges.
These clamps do not come in contact with data communication and low voltage cables. However, they are crucial in cable management and ceiling suspension as they provide reliable support for the fixtures that do. One of the many benefits of beam clamps is that you can install them with little or no equipment. Furthermore, they eliminate the need for welding, drilling, driving nails, and using screws on surfaces. Beam clamps may be knock-on, requiring only a hammer to install, or screw-on, which are installed simply by aligning them with the flange and tightening the accompanying screw securely.
There are many types of beam clamps with different capabilities. At Hook and Hanger, we offer seven (7) different high-quality beam clamps from a top industry manufacturer, that cover all possible beam clamp applications. The following are our products, their descriptions, and their uses.
1. Knock-On Steel Beam Clamp / Clip for Flanges 1/8 - 1/4" Thick (HOK-24)
HOK24 is a knock-on beam clamp for flanges 1/8" - 1/4" thick. This clamp is made from high-quality spring steel and is UL listed. You can easily install it by using a hammer to drive the clamp's jaws into the flange. The HOK24 beam clamp features a 1/4" hole that can accommodate ceiling wires and S-Hooks. You can further increase its capability by using a 1/4" bolt to attach I-Couplings, J-Hooks, and threaded rod hangers. We have the stand-alone HOK24 and two HOK24 products that come pre-assembled with rod hangers; HOK24 assembled to 38TI rod hanger with 3/8"-16 threaded impressions and HOK24 assembled to 14TI rod hanger with 1/4"-20 threaded impressions. Both products are for flanges 1/8" thick and can easily be disassembled.
2. Knock-On Steel Beam Clamp / Clip for Flanges 5/16 - 1/2" Thick (HOK58)
Also UL listed and made of high-quality spring steel, the HOK58 clamp is a slightly bigger version of HOK24 for flanges 5/16" - 1/2" thick. You can install this knock-on beam clamp using a hammer. It also features a 1/4" hole for use with ceiling wires like HOK24. You can assemble J-Hooks, I-Couplings, and threaded rod hangers to HOK58 using a 1/4" bolt. We offer the HOK58 as a standalone item or assembled with other products. The assembled versions are HOK58 assembled to 38TI rod hanger with 3/8"-16 threaded impressions and HOK58 assembled to 14TI rod hanger with 1/4"-20 threaded impressions. These products are pre-assembled. However, you can easily disassemble them
3. HOKFMP
HOKFMP is made from spring steel and can support bridle rings and drive rings. It is designed for use on 1/8" - 1/2" beams and requires only a hammer to install. HOKFMP can accommodate standard 1/4-20 or #10-24 threaded bridle rings. The beam clip also features two built-in slots and supports non-threaded bridle rings, as well as most drive ring sizes.
4. Press Beam Clamp (PBC) - Adjustable Screw-on Beam Clamp for Flanges up to 1/2" Thick
The PBC is a high-quality zinc plated steel beam clamp for flanges up to 1/2" thick. It is an adjustable beam clamp that you install by aligning the jaws of the beam clamp with the flange and securing it in place with the accompanying bolt. This threaded rod beam clamp features two threaded 1/4" x 20 holes are tapped on the side and bottom of the beam clamp, allowing for vertical and horizontal installation of threaded rods and bridle rings. You can utilize both holes simultaneously.
5. Knock-on Steel Beam Clamp, for Flanges 1/8" - 1/4" Thick (FM24)
FM24 is a knock-on beam clamp for flanges 1/8" - 1/4" thick. It is made of high-quality 3Cr steel and has an eco-friendly Geomet plating. This beam clip is RoHS compliant, as well as UL listed. It has two 1/4-20 threaded impressions on the side and bottom for supporting bridle rings, rods, and other 1/4-20 threads fixtures. You can increase the capability of the FM24 beam clamp via a hole on the bottom. For example, it can be used together with angle clips to support J-Hooks.
6. Knock-on Steel Beam Clamp, for Flanges 5/16" - 1/2" Thick (FM58)
Also made from high-quality spring steel and with an eco-friendly +3CR Geomet plating, the FM58 beam clamp is a slightly larger version of the FM24. This knock-on threaded rod beam clamp is for flanges 5/16" - 1/2" thick. It also features two 1/4-20 threaded impressions and is RoHS compliant. FM58 is used for supporting threaded fixtures. However, the hole at the bottom allows you to expand its capability by assembling with other fixtures.
7. Spring Steel Beam Clamp (SSBC) - Adjustable Beam Clamp
Designed for installation on flanges up to 1/2" thick, the SSBC is our most versatile beam clamp. It supports J-Hooks, 1/4" and 3/8" threaded rods, conduit clips, and bridle rings. It is made of high-quality spring steel and is RoHS compliant, as well as UL listed. The SSBC is a screw-on adjustable beam clamp featuring a hybrid 3/8" Phillips Hex screw and is very easy to install. Simply align the jaws of the clamp with the flange and screw it on tight. It features two 1/4-20 holes and one #10-24 hole that provide both vertical and horizontal attachments. The SSBC also features a through-hole for up to 3/8" threaded rods.
