If you often find yourself stressing out while sifting through a jungle of cables, we have developed the perfect solution for you. Our Cable Support J-Hook Tree Builder offers a multi-tiered solution that allows you to manage bundles of cables effortlessly and efficiently. Our J-Hook trees are not regular cable and hook support systems. The robust metal stem of the tree is designed to support multiple layers of heavy-duty cables, while the double J-Hook system guarantees increased cabling capacity. These features make our J-Hook trees ideal for managing numerous high-performance data cables, including Cat 6a, Cat 7, and optical fibers. There are numerous cable management solutions available; however, our J-Hook trees tackle the problem in a new and innovative way. Listed below are just some of the ways our J-Hook trees can assist you in your cable management efforts.
There are numerous cable management solutions available; however, our Cable Support J-Hook trees tackle the problem in a new and innovative way. Listed below are just some of the ways our J-Hook trees can assist you in your cable management efforts.
The most critical component of our J-Hook trees is the cable management hooks themselves. Our HPH series of J-Hooks are composed of a unique metal-plastic hybrid. The metal backbone adds durability to the structure and provides cable support, while the beveled plastic U-shape body acts as a base for the cables to rest. This wide base minimizes cable stress and friction, and reduces the formation of tangled cables. The tree itself comes with a variety of fixtures, allowing it to be fixed on any almost surface with ease.
Depending on your needs, you can customize the trees with different sized HPH J-Hooks ranging from 1 to 4 inches. The trees can also accommodate double J-Hook arrangements, which can be stacked up to 4 tiers, allowing for a maximum of 8 J-Hooks per tree!
While placing an order, you can choose from an array of specifications to ensure that the final product meets the requirements of your application.
Some problems can only be solved with a customized solution. In some cases, you may want different sized cables to be supported on the same tree. Traditionally, you are ‘locked-in’ to what the manufacturer has available, as conventional cable support systems will typically only offer one standard J-Hook size per tree.
But with our customizing options, you have the flexibility to build a J-Hook tree that caters to your unique requirements.
Our J-Hook tree builder offers an intuitive interface that navigates you through a step by step process (shown below) to build the J-Hook tree you want.
The first level of customization starts with choosing the hook size. Depending on the size of your cables, select the J-Hook size that is right for you. If you are not sure what size cable management hooks you need, our support team would be more than happy to assist you.
Once you decide your preferred hook size, you can choose if you want a single- or double-sided tree system. Single-sided trees may be best suited for narrow or hard-to-reach areas where double J-Hooks will not fit.
The next step is to decide the number of tiers or levels for your J-Hook tree. Our trees can accommodate up to 4 tiers, thereby allowing a maximum of 8 hooks per tree using the double-sided system.
The final stage of the customization process is to select your preferred attachment option. We offer a range of attachments for a variety of surfaces. For connecting to the underside of beams or rails, we offer various angle clips sizes.
Alternatively, you can also use knock-on or screw-on clamps for direct connections to beam flanges. All the attachment options we offer have standard dimensions and can be fixed using regular household tools. So, you don’t have to worry about getting specialized instruments to attach the tree to your surface.
By using our J-Hook Tree Builder interface, you receive a pre-packaged, preassembled cable management solution that is ready to use. This eliminates time spent on assembling trees and cable management hooks on site.
HPH J-Hooks trees are assembled with lead times in mind. We utilize both our factory and assembly resources to provide fast turnarounds that minimize the impact on your cable management project. Our team also works on strict deadlines to ensure that your products are delivered when you need them.
J-Hook trees are also quicker, easier, and more efficient than cable trays. The attachments can be installed without any extra skill and can be executed by the layman. This easy-to-use feature not only saves on time, but also reduces labor charges as well.
Our J-Hook trees can even be customized while in use. Hooks can be detached and reattached as needed, allowing the product to be reconfigured as required. This versatility makes our trees adaptable to rapidly changing cable management needs.
This feature also has inherent cost savings, since new J-Hook trees do not need to be purchased for changing cabling demands.
The price of our J-Hook trees is based on its service and innovation. The simplistic J-Hook tree design does not require special toolkits and can be installed on any surface using basic hardware. This eliminates expensive labor, which leads to considerable cost savings.
Furthermore, the tree builder provides you with a preassembled, ready to use solution, complete with attachments and hooks. This is less costly than ordering each component separately for assembly on site.
No other cable management system offers the same services in this budget.
Compliance With Standard Industry Codes
In addition to being constructed using superior material specifications, our J-Hook tree solutions are industry compliant. The J-Hooks are cULus listed, TIA-569-B, and ISO/IEC18010 compliant. They are also incombustible and plenum-rated, making them suitable for air handling units. The wide-base plastic U-shape body complies with codes and helps ensure a secure installation to accommodate high-performance cables. Our J-Hook tree structures are also rated to support a variety of cables, including conduits, large CAT 6a, CAT 7, large-diameter optical fiber, inner duct, tubing, and coaxial cables.
If you need more information on our J-Hook trees, or need assistance using the J-Hook tree builder application, feel free to contact our support team.
HPH J-Hooks are specially designed to provide optimum support for high speed data cable, such as Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Cat 7 and fiber optic.
We use a hybrid of metal and plastic components to offer the best of both worlds. The plastic component provides a two inch wide base support with a slick and burr free surface. The metal component provides a strong backbone. The combined J-Hook is UL listed, RoHS compliant, TIA compliant and is suitable for installation in plenum and air handling spaces.
One of the most innovative features of the HPH J-Hook is the built-in snap-lock retainer. This is far superior to clumsy retainer wires, cable ties or Velcro straps that require additional on-site installation.
Bend radius is an important factor in any high speed data cable installation. HPH J-Hooks offer the largest bend radius available at an average of 3.57 inches.
HPH J-Hooks are available pre-assembled to UL listed and RoHS compliant attachments, allowing for easy installation to a variety of structures and surfaces.
Consult with the cable manufacturer for proper installation guidelines.
